Synopsis

The remote host is affected by a vulnerability

Description

The versions of Oracle Siebel CRM installed on the remote host are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the April 2014 CPU advisory.

 - Vulnerability in the Siebel UI Framework component of Oracle Siebel CRM (subcomponent: Open_UI.).
 Supported versions that are affected are 8.1.1 and 8.2.2. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows successful unauthenticated network attacks via HTTP. Successful attack of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some Siebel UI Framework accessible data. (CVE-2014-2468)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Apply the appropriate patch according to the April 2014 Oracle Critical Patch Update advisory.
