The remote host is affected by a vulnerability

Description

The versions of Oracle Siebel CRM installed on the remote host are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the July 2022 CPU advisory.

- Vulnerability in the Siebel Apps - Field Service product of Oracle Siebel CRM (component: Smart Answer (Apache PDFBox)). Supported versions that are affected are 22.6 and prior. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Siebel Apps - Field Service executes to compromise Siebel Apps - Field Service. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of Siebel Apps - Field Service.

Solution

Apply the appropriate patch according to the July 2022 Oracle Critical Patch Update advisory.
