Synopsis

Pulse Connect Secure installed on the remote host is affected by DoS vulnerability

Description

The Pulse Connect Secure installed on the remote host is prior to 22.7R2.1. It is, therefore, affected by An out-of-bounds read in IPsec of Ivanti Connect Secure before version 22.7R2.1 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service. (CVE-2024-37401)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Pulse Connect Secure 22.7R2.1 or later.
