Synopsis

The remote CBL Mariner host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of mariadb installed on the remote CBL Mariner 2.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2023-6936 advisory.

- In wolfSSL prior to 5.6.6, if callback functions are enabled (via the WOLFSSL_CALLBACKS flag), then a malicious TLS client or network attacker can trigger a buffer over-read on the heap of 5 bytes (WOLFSSL_CALLBACKS is only intended for debugging). (CVE-2023-6936)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
