Description

The version of Dell Client Platform BIOS installed on the remote host is missing a security update.
It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the dsa-2024-355 advisory.

- Dell Client Platform BIOS contains an Improper Input Validation vulnerability in an externally developed component. A high privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to arbitrary code execution. (CVE-2024-47238)
