Synopsis

A display control application installed on the remote Windows host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The version of Dell Display Manager on the remote Windows host is version 2.3.2.20. It is, therefore affected by multiple vulnerabilites.

- A Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to code execution and possibly privilege escalation. (CVE-2025-22394)

- A race condition vulnerability. A local malicious user could potentially exploit this vulnerability during installation, leading to arbitrary folder or file deletion (CVE-2025-21101)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Upgrade to Dell Display Manager version 2.3.2.20 or later
