Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Ubuntu 14.04 LTS host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the USN-7232-1 advisory.

 A security issue was discovered in the Linux kernel. An attacker could possibly use this to compromise the system. This update corrects flaws in the following subsystem:

 - Netfilter; (CVE-2024-53141)
