Synopsis

The remote Azure Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of azcopy / cri-o / git-lfs / golang / kata-containers / keda / moby-engine / multus installed on the remote Azure Linux 3.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2022-29526 advisory.

 - Go before 1.17.10 and 1.18.x before 1.18.2 has Incorrect Privilege Assignment. When called with a non-zero flags parameter, the Faccessat function could incorrectly report that a file is accessible.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
