Synopsis

The remote Azure Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of frr installed on the remote Azure Linux 3.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2024-44070 advisory.

- An issue was discovered in FRRouting (FRR) through 10.1. bgp_attr_encap in bgpd/bgp_attr.c does not check the actual remaining stream length before taking the TLV value. (CVE-2024-44070)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
