Synopsis

The remote Azure Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of nodejs / nodejs18 installed on the remote Azure Linux 3.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2024-30260 advisory.

 - Undici is an HTTP/1.1 client, written from scratch for Node.js. Undici cleared Authorization and Proxy- Authorization headers for `fetch()`, but did not clear them for `undici.request()`. This vulnerability was patched in version(s) 5.28.4 and 6.11.1. (CVE-2024-30260)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
