Synopsis

The remote Azure Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of python3 / tensorflow installed on the remote Azure Linux 3.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2024-6923 advisory.

 - There is a MEDIUM severity vulnerability affecting CPython. The email module didn't properly quote newlines for email headers when serializing an email message allowing for header injection when an email is serialized. (CVE-2024-6923)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
