Synopsis

The remote SUSE host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote SUSE Linux SLES12 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the SUSE-SU-2025:0394-1 advisory.

 - CVE-2024-50379: Fixed remote code execution (RCE) due to TOCTOU issue in JSP compilation (bsc#1234663).
 - CVE-2024-54677: Fixed denial-of-service (DoS) attack in examples web application (bsc#1234664).

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the SUSE security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
