Synopsis

The remote Slackware Linux host is missing a security update to ark.

Description

The version of ark installed on the remote host is prior to 21.12.1 / 23.08.5. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SSA:2025-051-01 advisory.

 New ark packages are available for Slackware 15.0 and -current to fix a security issue.

Solution

Upgrade the affected ark package.
