Description

According to its self-reported version number, the version of Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery is affected by a symbolic link attack vulnerability. A low-privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to arbitrary file deletion and Elevation of Privileges.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
