Synopsis

The remote Slackware Linux host is missing a security update to emacs.

Description

The version of emacs installed on the remote host is prior to 30.1. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the SSA:2025-057-01 advisory.

New emacs packages are available for Slackware 15.0 and -current to fix security issues.
