A web browser installed on the remote macOS host is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The version of Google Chrome installed on the remote macOS host is prior to 135.0.7049.84. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the 2025_04_stable-channel-update-for-desktop_8 advisory.

 - Use after free in Site Isolation in Google Chrome prior to 135.0.7049.84 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) (CVE-2025-3066)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Google Chrome version 135.0.7049.84 or later.
