Synopsis

A Python library installed on the remote host is affected by a remote code execution vulnerability.

Description

The detected version of Microsoft Azure Promptflow python package, promptflow-tools, is prior to version 1.6.0. It is, therefore, affected by a remote code execution vulnerability. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this to bypass authentication and execute unauthorized arbitrary commands.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to promptflow-tools version 1.6.0 or later.
