Synopsis

The remote Azure Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of ruby installed on the remote Azure Linux 3.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2025-27221 advisory.

- In the URI gem before 1.0.3 for Ruby, the URI handling methods (URI.join, URI#merge, URI#+) have an inadvertent leakage of authentication credentials because userinfo is retained even after changing the host. (CVE-2025-27221)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
