Synopsis

The remote CBL Mariner host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of libsoup installed on the remote CBL Mariner 2.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2025-32906 advisory.

 - A flaw was found in libsoup, where the soup_headers_parse_request() function May be vulnerable to an out- of-bound read. This flaw allows a malicious user to use a specially crafted HTTP request to crash the HTTP server. (CVE-2025-32906)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
