Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing one or more security-related patches.

Description

USN-489-1 fixed vulnerabilities in the Linux kernel. This update provides the corresponding fixes for the redhat cluster suite kernel sources.

A flaw was discovered in the cluster manager. A remote attacker could connect to the DLM port and block further DLM operations.
(CVE-2007-3380).

Note that Tenable Network Security has extracted the preceding description block directly from the Ubuntu security advisory. Tenable has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible without introducing additional issues.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
