Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security-related patch.

Description

A flaw was discovered in the BGP dissector of tcpdump. Remote attackers could send specially crafted packets and execute arbitrary code with user privileges.

Solution

Update the affected tcpdump package.
