Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update for autofs.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 5 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2007:1176 advisory.

- autofs default doesn't set nodev in /net (CVE-2007-6285)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Update the RHEL autofs package based on the guidance in RHSA-2007:1176.
