Synopsis

The remote SuSE 10 host is missing a security-related patch.

Description

Following security problem is fixed by this patch :

 - When getpwuid() fails (due to dropped network on NIS accounts) fail instead of silently disabling locking (and just blanking). (CVE-2008-1683)

Solution

Apply ZYPP patch number 5334.
