Synopsis

The remote SuSE 10 host is missing a security-related patch.

Description

Specially crafted ddns update packets could trigger an exception in bind causing it to exit. The attack works if BIND is master for a zone even if ddns is not configured. (CVE-2009-0696)

Solution

Apply ZYPP patch number 6382.
