Synopsis
The remote Windows host has an ActiveX control that is affected by a code execution vulnerability.Description
The remote host contains the ixsso.dll ActiveX control.This control is included with the Indexing Service. The version of this control installed on the remote host reportedly has an arbitrary code execution vulnerability. A remote attacker could exploit this by tricking a user into requesting a maliciously crafted web page.
This vulnerability only affects systems that have the Indexing Service enabled. It is disabled by default.
