Description

The version of Windows Media Services running on the remote host has a buffer overflow vulnerability. This issue is related to the way the Windows Media Unicast Service handles specially crafted transport information packets.

A remote attacker could exploit this to execute arbitrary code.

Solution

Microsoft has released a set of patches for Windows 2000.
