Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing one or more security updates for cups.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 4 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RHSA-2010:0755 advisory.

- xpdf/poppler: ImageStream::ImageStream integer overflow (CVE-2009-3609)

- xpdf: uninitialized Gfx::parser pointer dereference (CVE-2010-3702)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the RHEL cups package based on the guidance in RHSA-2010:0755.
