The remote SuSE 10 host is missing a security-related patch.

Description

This SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 SP3 kernel was updated to fix various bugs and one security issue.

- The nfswaiton_request function in fs/nfs/pagelist.c in the Linux kernel allowed attackers to cause a denial of service (Oops) via unknown vectors related to truncating a file and an operation that is not interruptible. This has been fixed. (CVE-2010-1087)

Solution

Apply ZYPP patch number 7112.
