Description

Andres Lopez Luksenberg discovered a buffer overflow in the OID parser of libsmi, a library to access SMI MIB data.

Solution

Upgrade the libsmi packages.

For the stable distribution (lenny), this problem has been fixed in version 0.4.7+dfsg-0.2.
