Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing one or more security updates for flash-plugin.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 5 / 6 host has a package installed that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RHSA-2012:0722 advisory.

- flash-plugin: multiple code execution flaws (APSB12-14) (CVE-2012-2034, CVE-2012-2035, CVE-2012-2036, CVE-2012-2037, CVE-2012-2039)

- flash-plugin: information disclosure flaw (APSB12-14) (CVE-2012-2038)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the RHEL flash-plugin package based on the guidance in RHSA-2012:0722.
