The remote Oracle Linux host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Oracle Linux 6 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ELSA-2012-0052 advisory.

- The mem_write function in the Linux kernel before 3.2.2, when ASLR is disabled, does not properly check permissions when writing to /proc//mem, which allows local users to gain privileges by modifying process memory, as demonstrated by Mempodipper. (CVE-2012-0056)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
