The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch.

Description

According to its self-reported version number, the remote Junos device has a denial of service vulnerability. SRX Series devices with a Microsoft Remote Procedure Call (MSRPC) Application Layer Gateway (ALG) can crash when processing specially crafted MSRPC packets. A remote, unauthenticated attacker could exploit this to crash the device.

Solution

Apply the relevant Junos upgrade referenced in Juniper advisory JSA10578.
