Description

The Schneider Electric InduSoft Web Studio running on the remote host is affected by an authentication bypass vulnerability. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted packet to the TCP/IP server listening on the default port 1234.

Solution

Upgrade to InduSoft Web Studio version 8.0 or later and enable security via the 'Enable Security System' checkbox.
