Synopsis

The remote web server hosts a web application that is affected by multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities.

Description

The WordPress Better WP Security Plugin installed on the remote host is affected by multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities :

- The application fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input to the HTTP_USER_AGENT header. (CVE-2012-4263)

- The application fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input to unspecified server variables. (CVE-2012-4264)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to version 3.2.5 or later.
