Synopsis

The remote Debian host is missing a security-related update.

Description

It was discovered that Konversation, an IRC client for KDE, could be crashed when receiving malformed messages using FiSH encryption.

Solution

Upgrade the konversation packages.

For the stable distribution (wheezy), this problem has been fixed in version 1.4-1+deb7u1.
