The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch.

Description

According to its self-reported version number, the remote Juniper Junos device is affected by a denial of service vulnerability due to a flaw in the Label Distribution Protocol (LDP) implementation. An unauthenticated, remote attacker attacker can exploit this, by sending a specially crafted LDP packet, to cause the RDP routing process to crash and restart.

Solution

Apply the relevant Junos software release referenced in Juniper advisory JSA10715.
