Description

The remote ESX / ESXi host is missing a security-related patch. It is, therefore, affected by an unspecified flaw in the Descheduled Time Accounting driver that allows a guest Windows user to cause a denial of service. Note that this issue can be exploited only if the feature is installed and the affected service is not running in the virtual machine.

Solution

Apply the appropriate patch according to the vendor advisory that pertains to ESX / ESXi version 3.5.
