Synopsis

The remote Windows host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The remote Windows host is missing a security update. It is, therefore, affected by multiple remote code execution vulnerabilities in the Windows PDF library. A remote attacker can exploit these, by convincing user to open a specially crafted PDF file, to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user.

Solution

Microsoft has released a set of patches for Windows 2012, 8.1, 2012 R2, and 10.
