Synopsis

The remote Debian host is missing a security-related update.

Description

Stelios Tsampas discovered a buffer overflow in the Kamailio SIP proxy which might result in the execution of arbitrary code.

Solution

Upgrade the kamailio packages.

For the stable distribution (jessie), this problem has been fixed in version 4.2.0-2+deb8u1.
