Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Ubuntu 14.04 LTS / 16.04 LTS host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the USN-3164-1 advisory.

Bjoern Jacke discovered that Exim incorrectly handled DKIM keys. In certain configurations, private DKIM signing keys could be leaked to the log files.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the Ubuntu security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
