Synopsis

The remote host is vulnerable to a Denial of Service (DoS) attack

Description

The remote host is running Yahoo Instant Messenger. Version 5.0 of Instant Messenger is vulnerable to a Denial of Service attack, caused by a buffer overflow in the IMvironment Field. A remote attacker can send a message with a large IMvironment field and crash a local users IM client.
