Synopsis

The remote host is vulnerable to a buffer overflow.

Description

The remote host is running Argosoft. This version is reported prone to a denial of service. It is possible to kill the remote HTTP server by sending an invalid request to it ('GET /index.html

'). An attacker may exploit this vulnerability to make a web server crash continually or even execute arbitrary code on a system.

Solution

Upgrade or patch according to vendor recommendations.
