Synopsis

A command injection vulnerability CWE-77 is present that permits an unauthenticated user to execute arbitrary system commands within the underlying operating system. A malicious administrator could use this ability to install backdoors or change system configuration in a way that would not be logged.

Description

The software constructs all or part of a command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended command when it is sent to a downstream component.
