Tridium's Niagara R2 is a software framework that allows companies to build custom, Web-enabled applications for accessing, automating and controlling smart devices in real-time over the Internet. Niagara R2 is often, though not always, seen in ICS/SCADA environments. Niagara R2 was introduced in 1999, and Tridium announced Niagara R2's end of life in May 2012 with a last support and service date of December 2015.
