PHP 8.x < 8.0.5 Header Injection Vulnerability

medium Web App Scanning Plugin ID 112768

Synopsis

PHP 8.x < 8.0.5 Header Injection Vulnerability

Description

According to its self-reported version number, the version of PHP installed on the remote host is 7.3.x prior to 7.3.28, 7.4.x prior to 7.4.18, or 8.x prior to 8.0.5. It is, therefore, affected by a header injection via imap_mail_compose().

Note that the scanner has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to PHP version 8.0.5 or later.
