Description

Movable Type < 6.8.3 / 7.x < 7.8.2 contains an OS Command Injection vulnerability by sending a specially crafted POST request to the XMLRPC API.

Solution

Upgrade to Movable Type 7.8.2 or 6.8.3 or later or remove the execution permission of mt-xmlrpc.cgi or delete the mt-xmlrpc.cgi file.
