Atlassian Confluence 8.4.x < 8.4.4 Improper Authorization

Description

According to its self-reported version number, the Atlassian Confluence application running on the remote host is 7.x prior 7.19.6, 8.x prior to 8.3.4, 8.4.x prior to 8.4.4, 8.5.x prior to 8.5.3 or 8.6.x prior to 8.6.1. It is, therefore, affected by an improper authorization vulnerability.

Note that the scanner has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Atlassian Confluence version 8.4.4 or later.
