Atlassian Confluence 8.6.x < 8.9.1 Cross-Site Scripting

Description

According to its self-reported version number, the Atlassian Confluence application running on the remote host is prior to 7.19.22, 7.20.x prior to 8.5.9 or 8.6.x prior to 8.9.1 It is, therefore, affected by a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability.

Note that the scanner has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Atlassian Confluence version 8.9.1 or later.
