GeoServer 2.23.0 < 2.23.1 Multiples Vulnerabilities

Description

According to its banner, the version of GeoServer running on the remote host is prior to 2.22.5 or 2.23.0 < 2.23.2. It is, therefore, affected by Multiples Vulnerabilities :

- A Server Side Request Forgery in Web Processing Service (WPS) - A Server Side Request Forgery in the dynamic styling sld=<url> parameter

Note that the scanner has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to GeoServer version 2.23.2 or later.
