Joomla! 3.0.x < 3.9.4 Multiple Vulnerabilities

Description

According to its self-reported version number, the detected Joomla! application is affected by multiple vulnerabilities :

 - Lack of ACL checks in sample data plugins affects Joomla 3.8.0 through 3.9.3

 - XSS in com_config JSON handler affects Joomla 3.2.0 through 3.9.3

 - XSS in item_title layout affects Joomla 3.0.0 through 3.9.3

 - XSS in media form field affects Joomla 3.0.0 through 3.9.3

Note that the scanner has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update to Joomla! version 3.9.4 or latest.
